This family cookbook commemorates Michael Batoux, chef at the local Highgate Primary School, and his remarkable culinary legacy. After an illustrious career in fine-dining establishments around the world, Michael was determined to share his passion for gastronomy with children, both in school dinners and cookery clubs. He was loved and valued by the school community and is sorely missed. This book was a huge, collaborative effort, with countless volunteers giving up their time to offer their expertise.


Some of his delicious international recipes are captured here with stunning accompanying photographs. The dishes vary in skill level and are designed for the whole family to cook and enjoy together.
