They used to be close, but not anymore. Now all Jack wants is for her to get out of his face and leave him alone forever. Maybe he’s right. She knows what she did. Her parents are trying everything to rebuild the ruins of her family. All she had to do was mention Gant House in Dorset, and her dad was off, booking the old house for a few days of family togetherness. Together but away from the memory of her brother Adam. Somewhere they could catch their breath and process what she did. But something dark lurks within the grounds of the house. Something that has been waiting a very long time for a family just like hers.

 

When Lily arrives, everything changes. Her dad is playing again, smiling again. But then those smiles bring something more menacing into the house. Something Holly can’t quiet explain, and she has no way to stop it. And the ruins, they’re just getting bigger. The worst part is the noise, the loud, deafening noise, and that word that keeps repeating…
